The drive from Mumbai to Khandala takes approximately two hours and offers scenic views along the way. If you prefer travelling by train, the nearest railway station is Lonavala, just 5 kilometres from Khandala. Regular trains run from Mumbai and Pune to Lonavala.

 

Best Time to Visit Khandala

 

The best time to visit Khandala is during the monsoon season, from June to September, when the hills come alive with lush greenery and numerous waterfalls. The weather during this time is cool and pleasant, making it ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. 

 

However, if you prefer a drier climate, the winter months from October to February are also a great time to visit. The summer months from March to May can be warm, but the mornings and evenings remain pleasant.
