Terra Vera, a mansion built in 1943 by an Anglo-Indian lawyer EJ Vaz for his daughters Vera and Dolce, is now one of the most haunted places in Bangalore. The sisters lived there peacefully until 2002 when a tragedy struck and changed everything. A burglar broke into the house and brutally murdered Dolce in front of Vera, and the case remains unsolved to date. Vera moved out of the house after the incident, leaving the house abandoned.
