The main attraction at Timber Trail, however, is the exhilarating ropeway ride, which gives you a fantastic view of the deep gorges and splendid mountain ranges. This cable car ride covers a distance of about 1.8km and should not be missed, especially if you love the combination of adventure and nature.

2. Manki Point

The highest point of the town and one of the most renowned tourist attractions in Kasauli, Manki Point is home to the Air Force Station and an infamous temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that this was the resting point of Lord Hanuman when he went to retrieve the Sanjeevni Booti, and therefore, there is a significant presence of monkeys here. The view from the peak is also a sight to behold as you can easily see the nearby cities of Chandigarh, Panchkula, Kalka, and the Sutlej river from here. If you visit this spot on a clear day, you can also see the snow-clad peak of ‘Choor Chandni’, the highest mountain of the lower Himalayan belt.

6. Kasauli Brewery

Established by Edward Dyer in the 1820s, Kasauli Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in Asia for scotch whiskey. Even today, the plant uses the age-old methodology to brew the ale, and you can easily experience it. You can even interact with the workers at the brewery to learn more about the process of brewing.
