To be together, they elope to the Lake City of India, hoping no one would find them there. This part of the movie beautifully depicts Udaipur’s Ambrai Ghat, Ghangaur Ghat as well as Udaipur Palace.
- Octopussy (1983)
Standing tall in the list of movies shot in Udaipur is Octopussy, the thirteenth entry in the James Bond Series. This was the sixth 007 movie to star Roger Moore in the lead as MI6 agent James Bond. A good chunk of this movie was filmed in Udaipur – Monsoon Palace was used to show the exterior of Kamal Khan’s Palace while many scenes set at Octopussy’s palace were actually shot at the Jag Mandir and Lake Palace. Bond himself was shown staying at a hotel in Udaipur, along with other shots at Lake Pichola and Fatehsagar.
- The Cheetah Girls : One World (2008)
The finale of The Cheetah Girls, one of Disney Channel Original Movie’s most popular series was filmed in Udaipur. The third part of the trilogy was focused around the girl band travelling to India to star in a Bollywood movie. Many parts of the movie were filmed in Sajjangarh, Dudh Talai, City Palace and Delhi Gate during March 2008.
